Timetable

Between February and June 2010 the EC was actively compiling information, comments and ideas related to the Danube Strategy. A consultation document and questionnaire was available on the GD Regio website.

A sequence of four conferences along the Danube from Ulm, via Budapest, Vienna and Bratislava, Ruse to Constanţa was one of the main tools to promote the strategy and to gain responses from stake holders.

A consultaion process was started by the EC. From 02.02.2010 to 12.04.2010 stake holders had been invited to send in their written statements.

The EC published the first core document, the Action Plan, on 08.12.2010 which was based on the results of the stakeholder process.
The second core document, the Danube Strategy, is planned to be published during the end of the Hungarian EU Presidency in June 2011.
